HBO Max Finally Confirms UK Launch After Sky Deal Ends

HBO Max has finally confirmed its launch in the UK on February 23, 2024, following the end of its deal with Sky Atlantic.
HBO Max is the streaming service from WarnerMedia, home to a wide range of popular TV shows and movies, including Game of Thrones, The Wire, and Friends. It has been available in the US since May 2020, and has since expanded to several other countries, including Spain, Sweden, and Denmark.
The UK launch of HBO Max has been highly anticipated by fans of the streaming service. Sky Atlantic has been the exclusive home of HBO content in the UK since 2012, but the deal between the two companies is set to expire in 2024. The launch of HBO Max in the UK will give fans a chance to watch their favorite HBO shows and movies without having to subscribe to Sky Atlantic.
HBO Max will be available as a standalone streaming service in the UK, and will also be available as part of Sky's TV packages. The exact pricing for the service has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be competitive with other streaming services such as Netflix and Disney+.
